The Navas Lab is here for you. If you’re over 6’, you belong to an elite community with a unique problem: how do we find clothes that fit our towering frames?
You know the drill; you walk into a store and are instantly sized up by salespeople who send you to the fitting room with an armful of stuff you know isn’t going to fit.
Maybe the shoulders fit fine, but the arms are way too short. Or the arms are the right length, but the body is too wide. If the waist is perfect, the legs are flood-ready. And if the length is great? You may as well be wearing clown pants. That’s where we come in.
Sustainable, innovative apparel for tall guys
We're a Vancouver-based apparel company, creating exceptionally high quality clothes right here in our own community. We design and build every item to respect your length and give you the perfect fit, finally. As a 6’6” west-coaster, I had tried it all: the big retail outlets, the outdoor equipment stores, the specialty shops. I was swimming in a sea of short sleeves and flood pants, and all I wanted was something comfortable that fit my Vancity lifestyle (where you go from the office to the trails, then out for beers in the same hoodie).
In 2014, my sister—who’d spent her whole life with a front row seat to my #tallguyproblems—had a revolutionary idea: quit the corporate gig, stop complaining, and create the solution. We teamed up and took the leap, and the result of our problem-solving is the carefully curated selection of hoodies, t-shirts, jackets and board shorts you find on these pages.
The Navas vision
Navas Lab Apparel was founded on a vision to provide tall men clothing of the highest quality that is made ethically and sustainably in Canada. We knew we wanted our clothes to be different - from the fabric to the fit and feel, from concept to manufacture, and all the way to our customer’s hands. Our vision is for tall guys everywhere to be confident and proud to put on their Navas Lab clothes - and that’s exactly what we are doing.
Our fabric is the key
Each piece of clothing from Navas was conceived to be produced ethically and sustainably. Each layer is made with the purpose of functionality and performance. Each item carefully put together for you - the tall guy. Our fabric is part of who we are, our ethos. It’s what drives us to change the fashion industry while making better clothes for tall guys and improving the world we live in.

Navas Lab designs clothes for a particular set of the population (tall men over 6') with a specific purpose - everyday performance. Our clothes are made for you to be able to go from the office, to the gym, and then out for a drink without worry. Navas Lab clothes are high-quality, no-fuss, elegant and made to last.
We are about sustainable processes and materials
Navas Lab chooses to only use sustainable materials and processes for our clothes. As you go through our different products you will notice a mix of Bamboo Cotton, Bamboo Microstripe, Tencel Organic Cotton and other blends. We are proud to say that our fabric and processes meet the strict standards of OEKO-TEX standard 100 for environmental friendliness. In addition, our clothes are dyed without heavy metals, phthalates, lead or formaldehyde.
Made in Canada for tall guys everywhere
We do not support overseas sweatshop labour and we will never use it. All of our products are manufactured ethically and sustainably in Canada and in Vancouver whenever possible. The Navas bamboo fabric is milled in Ontario, Canada and is one of the most sustainable forms of fabric there is - oh, and it’s also comfy as hell!
Navas is a hands-on company and we are present at every step of the process in order to be able to make ethical decisions at every step of the way and guarantee the utmost quality to our customers.
Made for the active tall guy
Our clothes are prototyped and made for tall guys - 6’ and up. Or line of clothing includes:
- Tall tees - different fabrics, styles and sizes of shirts for any situation you may find yourself in.
- Tall hoodies - from zip-ups to hooded long sleeve shirts you will find different styles for different occasions.
- Tall long sleeve shirts - in bamboo, microstripe or organic cotton, our long sleeve shirts are perfect for ultimate comfort.
- Tall boardshorts - Our boardshorts are lightweight, comfortable and perfect for tall guys.
What's a Navas?
As a family-owned business, we chose to name Navas after our cat. Navas is a play on the word Navigator, a concept we apply to all of our products. Navigators are wayfinders, always charting the best course to reach their goals. Our aim is to create products that help you live your life in the same limitless way. My sister and I have always been explorers, seekers, and risk-takers. We’re interested in finding a new way, always. And when you wear our clothes, we hope to inspire you to do the same.
